Annual Chickasaw County Rescue Squad Golf Outing Saturday (08.10)
The Chickasaw Rescue Squad is teeing up their 6th annual Chickasaw Rescue Association Golf Outing this Saturday (08.10).
Squad member Jason Rude says the 4-person best shot golf tournament starts at 10 am at the New Hampton Golf and Country Club. There are also individual golf contests for the longest putt, longest drive, and closest to the keg, plus funniest dressed teams.
Rude says they’ll also show off their new rescue drone.
Festivities also include a silent auction, which is open to the public. Winners will be announced Saturday night at 6 pm.
Rude says proceeds go to equip their truck with a slideout unit for quicker access to rescue tools like the Jaws of Life.
