The Forest City Community School District is looking for a new school board member from the community according to Forest City Community Schools Superintendent Darwin Lehmann in District 1.
Anyone who resides in that area is eligible to serve in that vacated seat on the school board. Lehmann explained what they are looking for in the candidate who will run a year from this November for the position.
Serving on the board creates a positive difference in the community and Lehmann encourages any interested person to step forward and help in the lives of area youth.
