Mason City Administrator Aaron Burnett spoke with the Mason City Council and Mayor Bill Schickel about the need to continue the effort to recruit new officers to the Mason City Police Department. He believes that the city is being very successful in getting this done.
Recruitment is necessary according to Burnett, because of several factors that the department naturally encounters.
The city continually works to maintain and hire staff including the police force.
