Mason City Extends Search for a Public Works Director

The Mason City Council was briefed on the need to extend the search for a new Public Works Director. City Administrator Aaron Burnett informed the Council of the extension in a recent meeting.

The city is not without someone coordinating the work to be done in the city, however.

Burnett wants to make the city has the right candidates for the job. As a result, having a bigger candidate pool to draw from is vital in filling the position.
