Voters in the Garner Hayfield Ventura School District Say Yes to Renewing PPEL

The voters in the Garner Hayfield Ventura Community School District have approved the renewal of the district’s Physical Plant and Equipment Levy or PPEL.
89.6 percent of the voters or 364-42 approved renewing the PPEL at a rate of 67-cents per $1000 of taxable property value. Garner Hayfield Ventura Community School District Superintendent Ken Kasper was very happy about the returns.
The vote means that the PPEL will remain in place for the next ten years before it must be renewed again by voters.
The PPEL funds allow for projects such as roof repairs HVAC maintenance, and school buildings that are safe and up to date for the students.
