Worth County voters approve EMS levy vote

MANLY — Voters in Worth County have approved public measures to approve property tax increases to help fund the emergency management services in the county.
The tax will help pay for ambulance service personnel and equipment provided by the Mason City Fire Department and the Winnebago County Ambulance Service.
Over 90% of the voters in each of the voting districts approved the levy. It will be an 85-cent per $1000 assessed valuation tax in Grafton, Manly and Southeastern Worth County, while it will be a 45-cents per $1000 assessed valuation tax in Fertile, Hanlontown, Joice and West Worth County.
