Staff settling in as Clear Lake City Hall renovations near completion

CLEAR LAKE — The City of Clear Lake’s administrative staff recently moved back into City Hall as a security upgrade and remodeling project starts to wrap up. Staff had moved to a temporary location in the Pritchards Innovation Center while the renovation project was taking place.
Mayor Nelson Crabb says the project was done very well. “We now have several entries that are all secured very, very well, including the windows. We do have a door yet to come, that hasn’t arrived as of yet. The main door coming in. We have to now use the old double-doors that go into the council room to get through, but once that gets here, we have several window shells that need to be placed in. Other than that, it’s done.”
Crabb talked about the renovations and other topics during this week’s “Ask the Mayor” podcast which you can listen to by clicking here.
