Former NIACC baseball player Williamson leaves Reds game with strained left elbow
CINCINNATI — Former NIACC baseball player Brandon Williamson left last night’s Cincinnati Reds game against Atlanta with a strained left elbow. The 26-year-old left-hander doubled over for a moment near the mound after throwing a pitch in the second inning. Williamson was a second-round pick in the 2019 draft by the Seattle Mariners after pitching at NIACC during the 2017 and 2018 seasons and at Texas Christian University in 2019.
