OSAGE — The Lake Mills boys and Crestwood girls won the team titles at the Osage Invitational cross country meet at the Milton R. Owen Nature Center on Tuesday.
On the boys side, Lake Mills took the team title with 30 points, Newman was second with 70, while North Butler was third with 71 points. Lake Mills had the top three runners with Kade Van Roekel winning with a time of 17:14. Knute Rogne was second with 17:19 and Hayden Thompson third in 17:33.
The Cadets took the girls team title with 50 points, with Osage second at 73 and Central Springs edging New Hampton for the third spot with 95 points. Scarlett Byrnes of Osage won the race in a time of 20:04, three seconds faster than Riceville’s Claire Zweibohmer. See the full results by clicking here
