Minnesota man sentenced to ten years in Lake Mills sexual assault case

LAKE MILLS — It’s ten years in prison for a Minnesota man who pleaded guilty to sexual abuse in a Lake Mills case.
40-year-old Steven McAllister of Eagan Minnesota was arrested in January after a criminal complaint filed by the Lake Mills Police Department stated that he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old female at a home in Lake Mills in late July last year.
McAllister pleaded guilty to the charge in August. District Judge Colleen Weiland sentenced McAllister on Tuesday to ten years in prison. A $1370 fine was also assessed but was suspended.
