LAKE MILLS — The Lake Mills boys won their own cross country invitational at Rice Lake Golf Course on Monday while Hampton-Dumont-CAL took the girls title.

Lake Mills had all five of their scoring runners finish in the top seven to take the boys team title with 19 points. North Butler was second with 44 points, while Hampton-Dumont-CAL placed third with 75. Hayden Thompson of Lake Mills won the boys race in a time of 16:26, while teammate Knute Rogne finished second five seconds behind.

Hampton-Dumont-CAL won the girls team title with 23 points, while West Hancock had the only other full team competing and finished with 32 points. Alexis Cummins of North Union won the girls race in a time of 20:59, with Macy Thorson of Northwood-Kensett being the runner-up in a time of 21:46.
