MASON CITY — Both NIACC soccer teams dropped decisions to ranked Northeast Community College squads on Wednesday in Mason City in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference play.
The NIACC men fell 3-1 to the third-ranked Hawks. The lone goal for the Trojans was scored in the 22nd minute by Elia Salvatore Antonini. The NIACC men drop their records to 9-3 overall and 2-2 in the conference.
The NIACC women fell 2-1 to 12th-ranked Northeast. The Trojans struck first in the contest with a goal at the 26 minute mark by freshman Emmalyse Bordignon. The NIACC women drop to 4-5-2 overall and 2-3 in the conference. Both NIACC soccer teams will face Marshalltown Community College on Saturday in Marshalltown.
