FORT DODGE — The Mason City High girls finished 10th while the boys finished 21st at the Fort Dodge Cross Country Invitational at the Lakeside Golf Course. The Riverhawks girls had 307 points in the 25-team race, with Johnston winning with 48 points. Janae Hansen had Mason City’s best finish, coming in 44th in a time of 20:10. On the boys side, Dowling of West Des Moines won the 28-team race with 41 points, with Mason City having 608. Henry Hansen finished 41st for the Riverhawks in a time of 16:37.
