Forest City takes team titles at Top of Iowa Conference cross country meet

MASON CITY — Forest City swept the team titles at the Top of Iowa Conference cross country meet on the NIACC campus in Mason City on Thursday.
== On the boys side, Forest City edged Lake Mills and Garner-Hayfield-Ventura for the team title. The Indians had five runners in the top 12 and finished with 46 points, with Lake Mills being second with 54 and the Cardinals with 58. Gavin Grunhovd of North Iowa won the boys race in a time of 16:25.
== On the girls side, Forest City won with 40 points, Osage was second with 87, while St. Ansgar was third with 106. Scarlett Byrnes of Osage won the girls race in a time of 19:31.
