NORTHWOOD — An east-central Iowa man accused of sexual abuse in Worth County has pleaded guilty.
38-year-old Ellis Allison of Hiawatha was arrested in August and charged with three counts of third-degree sexual abuse after being accused of having sexual relations with a girl under the age of 16 between September 2020 and December 2021 in the Grafton area.
As part of a plea agreement with prosecutors, Allison has pleaded guilty to two of the three sexual abuse counts. As part of the plea agreement, prosecutors are recommending that Allison be sentenced to 10 years in prison on each charge, with the charges being served consecutively.
A sentencing date has not been set as of the last check of court records.
