In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left in Michael’s honor in care of his family.

He was born on March 22, 1960, in Mason City, Iowa, to Herman and Barbara (Wiggins) Kruger. Growing
up on the family farm near Ventura, Michael shared countless memories with his siblings, instilling in him a
deep love for the land and family values that would define his life.

A 1978 graduate of Ventura High School, Michael went on to pursue his passion for agriculture and
continued working on the family farm, demonstrating an unbreakable commitment to his roots. He later
would shift his career to livestock, where he managed a swine production facility for Hawkeye Sow Center for
19 years.

On June 29, 1985, he married Lori Wentworth, and together they welcomed two sons, Zachary and Nicholas,
who were the pride and joy of his life. Tragically, Lori preceded him in death on April 11, 2008.
In 2010, Michael found love and companionship again with PJ Coe, they were united in marriage on June 17,
2010; together they shared many beautiful years filled with shared adventures, mutual support, and
unconditional love.

Those who knew Mike will remember his kind heart, deep faith in Jesus, and gentle spirit. Jesus was the
foundation of his life, and he found joy in sharing the good news with others. He lived his life in service to
others, always eager to lend a hand or a listening ear. His family, friends, and community will carry forward
his legacy of faith, kindness, and love for life. Mike was a man of many passions and simple joys. He loved
reading and painting, each brushstroke and word a reflection of his creative soul. He enjoyed the challenge of
the golf course and cherished the beauty of the outdoors, finding peace and inspiration in nature.

Mike enjoyed sports especially the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Minnesota Vikings. His loyal dogs were also a
huge part of his life; they were his constant companions and brought him joy every day.

He is survived by his loving wife, PJ Coe-Kruger; sons, Zachary (Irene) Kruger and Nicholas (Emma)
Kruger; Six Grandchildren from South Dakota; siblings, David (Carol) Kruger of Jewel, Dwight (Patty)
Kruger of Tennessee, Dan Kruger of Clear Lake, Kendall (Deb) Kruger of Ankeny, and Kevin Kruger of
Garner; sisters-in-law, Mary (Jeff) Schroeder and Connie Carter, all of Ventura; several nieces and nephews
along with a large extended family and circle of friends. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly
remembered by those whose lives he touched.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lori; father and mother-in-law, Royal and Beverly Wentworth;
brother-in-law, Royal Wentworth II; his sister, Michelle Kruger and mother and father-in-law Larry and Jane
Coe; infant grandson, Declan Kruger.
