NIACC women split weekend at NDSCS Classic

WAHPETON, NORTH DAKOTA — The 10th-ranked NIACC women’s basketball team split a pair of games over the weekend at the North Dakota State College of Science Classic.
On Friday, NIACC dropped an 81-77 decision to the host NDSCS. Sophomore Tori Miller led the Trojans with 23 points and six rebounds.
On Saturday, NIACC scored 42 points in the first quarter on their way to a 128-41 win over Minnesota North College-Itasca. Miller once again led the way with 24 points while Keeley Steele added 18.
NIACC is 3-1 overall and will host Minnesota North College-Vermillion on Saturday night.
