Girls wrestling roundup for Tuesday — Mason City wins Riverhawk Invitational

MASON CITY — Mason City won their own Riverhawk Invite girls wrestling tournament on Tuesday. The Riverhawks had 214 ½ points with five champions and three finishing second. Winning titles were Lila Sheehan at 105, Madeline Cornish at 110, Carleigh Arjes at 125, Kallie Gibbons at 135 and Damiyah Williams at 140.

Clear Lake finished second as a team with 186 points. Pieper Lester won the 130 pound title, Kayma Burleson won the title at 170 while Zoe Konntz took the 190 pound championship.

Algona was third with 177 ½ points, St. Ansgar was sixth with 74, North Butler/Clarksville was seventh with 62, while Northwood-Kensett was 10th with 47.
