“Buddy the Elf” to once again showcase City of Mason City departments

MASON CITY — “Buddy the Elf” is making its way back onto social media for the City of Mason City.

Mason City’s City Administrator Aaron Burnett says all throughout the month of December, Buddy, through the help of the city’s communications coordinator Pam Stecker, will be visiting places throughout the community and stopping at various city departments and sharing the good deeds of city staff.  “Pam does a fantastic job with all the departments to use Buddy the Elf to highlight the various things that the different departments do and raise awareness of city services that are provided. It’s always met with a lot of positivity from the community, and I think it’s just a fun way to really bring awareness to all the city services that are provided.”
