Mason City man jailed on sexual abuse charges

MASON CITY — A Mason City man has been jailed on two counts of sexual abuse.
20-year-old Jackson Oetken was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail this week on one count of third-degree sexual abuse by force and one count of third-degree sexual abuse of a child victim.
Criminal complaints filed in Cerro Gordo County District Court state that Oetken committed sexual acts with a female under the age of 16 multiple times between October 1st and October 23rd, with one of the instances taking place at his home and another at East Park.
Oetken is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $20,000 cash-only bond. He’s due in court for his preliminary hearing on December 13th.
