Clear Lake schools to start process of finding new superintendent after Gee announces resignation plan

CLEAR LAKE — The superintendent of the Clear Lake Community School District is resigning.

Doug Gee has held the position since July 2016. According to minutes of the Clear Lake School Board’s meeting of last week, Gee announced he would be resigning from the position effective June 30th of next year.

The Clear Lake School Board is scheduled to meet on Tuesday afternoon starting at 2:15 PM to hear presentations from search firms that would help the district find its next superintendent.
