CHARLES CITY — A Charles City man has been convicted of child sexual abuse.
38-year-old Charles Fisher was arrested in March after the Charles City Police Department filed a criminal complaint stating that Fisher sexually abused a minor girl he was watching at his house sometime in late January of this year.
A Floyd County jury convicted Fisher of one count of second-degree sexual abuse as part of his trial last week. Fisher faces 25 years in prison when he’s sentenced on February 3rd.
