Clear Lake boys, Forest City girls win in basketball doubleheader in Clear Lake Thursday

CLEAR LAKE — Down 12-4 at the end of the first quarter, Clear Lake outscored Forest City 48-27 in the final three quarters as the Lions beat the Indians 52-39 in non-conference boys basketball action, as you heard on 103.7 The Fox and saw on northiowanow.com. Thomas Meyer led the way for Clear Lake with 16 points while Titan Schmitt added 12. Clear Lake is now 4-0 on the season and will host Humboldt in North Central Conference play tonight. Forest City drops to 5-1 and will host West Hancock tonight.
