MASON CITY — A Mason City man has pleaded not guilty to two counts of child sexual abuse.
20-year-old Jackson Oetken was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail earlier this month on one count of third-degree sexual abuse by force and one count of third-degree sexual abuse of a child victim. Criminal complaints state that Oetken committed sexual acts with a female under the age of 16 multiple times between October 1st and October 23rd, with one of the instances taking place at his home and another at East Park.
Oetken filed a written plea of not guilty this week in Cerro Gordo County District Court. Court records did not immediately indicate a trial date.
He is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $20,000 cash-only bond.
