Clear Lake man pleads not guilty to numerous child pornography charges

SIOUX CITY — A Clear Lake man has pleaded not guilty to federal child pornography charges.
David Garrison was arrested last week and charged with sexual exploitation of a child, distribution of child pornography, receipt of child porn, and four counts of possession of child porn.
Federal prosecutors say Garrison used a child under the age of 18 to produce child pornography in July 2021. They say he also distributed child porn between July 2021 and August 2021, received child porn from out of state between January 2020 and January 2022, and was in possession of child porn on a computer, a tablet, a cell phone and physical images between January 2020 and January 2022.
Garrison has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is scheduled to stand trial in US District Court in Sioux City on February 18th.
