Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors holds first meeting of year this morning

MASON CITY — The Cerro Gordo County Board of Supervisors will have their first meeting of the year this morning. It’s mainly an organizational session, with the board doing things such as appointing a chair and vice chair, as well as making appointments to certain boards and commissions.

It will be the first meeting for new supervisor Carl Ginapp, who will represent the Third District, which includes all of Mason City’s First Ward; the second and third precincts of the Second Ward; the first precinct of the Fourth Ward; as well as the communities of Rock Falls and Plymouth and the Falls and Lime Creek-Mason North townships.

The supervisors meet at 10 o’clock in the first floor boardroom of the courthouse.
