NIACC women beat Iowa Central

FORT DODGE – The No. 15 NIACC women’s basketball team cruised to a 80-54 victory over Iowa Central Wednesday night in an ICCAC contest.
NIACC led 34-20 at the half and rolled to the 26-point victory.
NIACC was led by sophomore Keeley Steele with 21 points and freshman Kelsey McDonough with 20 points. Steele was 6 of 7 from the free-throw line and McDonough was 5 of 10 from 3-point range.
Also for the Trojans, sophomore Karly Holm and freshman Reggi Spotts both scored 10 points.
NIACC (13-4 overall, 4-3 in the ICCAC) returns to action Saturday at home against Iowa Western. Game time in the NIACC gym is slated for 1 p.m.

NIACC fell in the men’s game 95-76. Cameron Reigard came off the bench to score 15 and lead the Trojans, who fall to 11-5 overall and 4-3 in the conference. They will also host Iowa Western on Saturday.
