DES MOINES — The Mason City Mohawk hockey club dropped a pair of games at the Des Moines Capitals over the weekend.
On Saturday night, the Capitals shut out the Mohawks 5-0.
Tanner Ruehlow had the only goal for Mason City on Sunday as the Capitals posted a 5-1 win.
Mason City drops to 7-13 overall and will host Waterloo on Thursday night at the Mason City Arena.
