MASON CITY — The theme of this year’s North Iowa Band Festival is “The Sounds of Iowa”.
Band Festival organizers are announcing the theme today, saying the theme pays homage to the places, people and traditions that make Iowa truly special. They say guests, marching bands, entertainers, and parade participants are encouraged to add their own Iowa flair to the festival, whether it’s rolling cornfields, music that echoes through our towns, or pride in our agricultural and cultural roots.
The 86th North Iowa Band Festival runs May 22nd through the 25th.
