Mason City High girls win Iowa Alliance Conference wrestling tournament

DES MOINES — The Mason City High girls wrestling program captured the Iowa Alliance Conference tournament title last night in Des Moines.

The Riverhawks had 197 points as they crowned five champions — Madeline Cornish at 115, Carleigh Arjes at 120, Isobella Villarreal at 125, Damiyah Williams at 140 and Aniyah Smith at 235.

Ottumwa was second with 178 points, Ames third with 169, the Des Moines Public Schools combined team was fourth with 166 ½, Marshalltown had 90 points and Fort Dodge rounded out the six-team field with 78.
