Richard Arthur Larson

Richard Arthur Larson, 82, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving
family on Saturday, January 25th 2025.

Rich was born on March 23rd, 1942 in Fort Dodge. He spent 44 years in Clear Lake
married to Verona (Hagerud) and they had a daughter, Heidi and a son, Todd.

Rich was famous for his cooking among his extended family and loved all things food.
He spent most of his career selling food service equipment and helping to set up new
local restaurants. Rich was known for his quick wit and good sense of humor and
entertained friends and family with great storytelling. He loved traveling and taking road
trips out West in the summer and had lots of adventures visiting his daughter in
California. 

Rich is survived by his wife, Verona, son, Todd, daughter, Heidi, son-in-law Mike,
granddaughter, Felicity and many loving relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his baby brother, Eugene, his father, Elmer and his
mother, Nellie. A celebration of life will take place in the Spring.
