MASON CITY — Girls regional wrestling tournaments take place this afternoon across the state:
== Mason City High School will host a Class 2A regional that also includes Clear Lake, Cedar Rapids Washington, Fort Dodge, Marshalltown, Waterloo West, Waverly-Shell Rock and Webster City
== Osage will host a Class 1A regional that also includes Charles City, Crestwood, Decorah, Eagle Grove, Emmetsburg, Hampton-Dumont-CAL, Humboldt, Lake Mills, MFL-MarMac, Nashua-Plainfield, North Butler-Clarksville, New Hampton-Turkey Valley, Northwood-Kensett, Riceville, Sumner-Fredericksburg, Tripoli and West Fork.
== The 1A at East Buchanan will include St. Ansgar and Algona
Tournaments start at 4:00 PM, except at the Mason City regional, where it’s a 5:00 PM start. Qualifiers from each tournament will advance to the state tournament which takes place next Thursday and Friday in Coralville.
