High school girls basketball roundup from Tuesday — Mason City wins Iowa Alliance North title

WATERLOO — The Mason City High girls basketball team captured the Iowa Alliance Conference North Division title last night with a 61-42 win at Waterloo East. The Riverhawks are now 15-6 overall and 8-1 in the conference and will host Des Moines Lincoln on Friday night.

CLEAR LAKE — The Clear Lake girls outscored Webster City 36-14 in the second half to pick up a 55-31 win in North Central Conference play last night, as you heard on 103.7 The Fox and northiowanow.com. Taylor Schwenn had 13 while Madi Ott and Ashley Amble each added 12. Clear Lake is now 7-10 overall and 5-5 in the conference and will travel to Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on Thursday
