Thursday basketball roundup — Clear Lake boys win, girls fall at GHV

GARNER — The Clear Lake boys basketball team remains undefeated as they beat Garner-Hayfield-Ventura in non-conference play last night 76-39 in Garner, as you heard on 103.7 The Fox and saw on northiowanow.com. Thomas Meyer led the Lions with 18 points, Carson Riser had five three-pointers and added 17, while Jaxson McIntire added 13 and Titan Schmitt 12. Clear Lake is now 17-0 on the season and they will travel to Fort Dodge tonight to face St. Edmond. With a Lion win, they’ll capture the North Central Conference title.

Clear Lake drops to 7-11 on the season and will travel to St. Edmond tonight.
