Plea hearing set for Mason City man accused of ongoing criminal conduct in Winnebago County

FOREST CITY — A plea change hearing has been scheduled for a Mason City man charged with ongoing criminal conduct in Winnebago County.

53-year-old Craig Feuring was charged with the Class B felony charge as well as third-degree theft. Trial information states that Feuring between January 2022 and November 4th of 2024 committed an act for financial gain on a continuing basis. The complaint says Feuring took possession or control of the property of another with the intent to deprive, with the property having a value between $750 and $1500.

Feuring had pleaded not guilty to the charges and was scheduled to stand trial on February 26th, but court records show that District Judge DeDra Schroeder has scheduled a plea and sentencing hearing for March 11th in Winnebago County District Court.
