Cold weather again tonight, snow & blowing snow a possibility Friday and Saturday
MASON CITY — A Cold Weather Advisory continues until mid-morning for most of our listening area, but forecasters are already looking at the next couple of days for another round of snowfall.
The National Weather Service has in its initial forecast snow from Friday afternoon through Saturday, with blowing snow a possibility with wind gusts as high as 30 miles per hour during the day on Friday and Saturday. It’s expected to be another cold night in north-central Iowa tonight, with the air temperature down around five below zero and wind chill values as low as 20 below.
