MASON CITY — A Mason City man has been jailed on a sexual abuse of a minor charge.
A criminal complaint states 34-year-old Jeremiah Estrada engaged in three or more acts of sexual abuse with a 12-year-old victim over a timespan between March 1st of last year up until the time of his arrest late Thursday while living in Mason City.
Estrada has been charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child, a Class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison.
He is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on a total of $25,000 bond.
