MASON CITY — Mason City dropped their Class 4A Substate 4 quarterfinal round contest on Monday night at home to Marshalltown 62-59, as you heard on 98.7 KISS Country and saw on northiowanow.com.

The Riverhawks end their season with a record of 9-13.

Marshalltown advances to face 2nd-ranked Linn-Mar in the substate semifinals on Friday night.
