WATERLOO — The Mason City High girls bowling team finished sixth in the Class 3A team state bowling tournament held at Cadillac XBC in Waterloo.
The Riverhawks finished the pre-bracket 15 Baker games with 2654 pins, putting them into the consolation bracket.
They beat Davenport Central three games to two in the consolation semifinals, then fell in three straight games to Dubuque Senior in the 5th Place match.
Cedar Rapids Kennedy beat Waukee three games to two to take the championship match.
