CLEAR LAKE — The Clear Lake boys basketball team looks to punch their ticket to the state tournament for the sixth time in school history as they face Solon in the Class 3A Substate 3 championship game tonight.
The Lions are a perfect 23-0 and have won their first two substate games by an average margin of 45 points and hold a Class 3A-best average margin of victory for the season of 31.6 points per contest. Solon comes in with an 18-5 record after beating Nevada in overtime in the substate semifinal round.
