NORTH PLATTE — The NIACC women’s basketball team had their season come to a close with a 74-60 loss at North Platte Nebraska Community College on Saturday in the North Central A District title game. NIACC led 27-9 after the first quarter but North Platte cut the lead to 38-32 at half, and then outscored the Trojans 25-9 in the third quarter to take control of the contest. NIACC was led by sophomore Tori Miller who had 22 points, while freshman Reggi Spotts added 14. NIACC finishes the season with a 25-7 record.
