32-year-old Hervin Santos Galeano was recently taken into custody after an investigation. A criminal complaint states that Kanawha police attended three different interviews at the Allen Child Protection Center in Waterloo last week, where a child under the age of 12 disclosed that Santos Galeano allegedly committed numerous sexual acts.
Santos Galeano has been charged with: second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison; lascivious acts with a child, a Class C felony; as well as dissemination and exhibition of obscene material to minors, a serious misdemeanor.
Santos Galeano has made his initial appearance in court, but court records do not indicate when his next court appearance will be.
