High school roundup from Tuesday April 8th

CLEAR LAKE — Algona edged Clear Lake for the Lions Early Bird girls track title on Tuesday at Lions Field in Clear Lake. Algona had 156 points with four first-place finishes, while runner-up Clear Lake had 151 points. Forest City was third with 102, with Garner-Hayfield-Ventura being fourth with 76. The Lions had seven first-place finishes on the day: individually, Reese Brownlee won the 200, Addison Doughan won the 3000, Gabriella Landau won the long jump. Clear Lake also had four relays finish first with the sprint medley, 4×100, 4×400, and 4×800. You can see the full results by clicking here
