Plea change hearing set for Wisconsin man accused of sexual abuse in Franklin County

HAMPTON — A plea change hearing has been scheduled for a Wisconsin man accused of sexual abuse in Franklin County.

23-year-old Kaden Dokken of LaCrosse is accused of sexually abusing a child in rural Iowa Falls. A criminal complaint states that the parents of a minor child on May 24th of last year reported to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office that Dokken had been assaulting their minor child for four to five months.

Dokken had pleaded not guilty to one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child, a Class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison, and was due to be tried on the charge on April 29th. Court records show a plea change hearing has now been scheduled for April 17th in Franklin County District Court.
