INDIANOLA — NIACC’s Meghan DeLong placed second at the Simpson College Storm Spring Classic on Wednesday afternoon at the Indianola Country Club. The freshman from Clear Lake shot an 80 to earn her second-place finish, as she was three shots behind medalist Brooke Stellmaker of Buena Vista. NIACC as a team placed fourth with a 361. Buena Vista was the team champion with a 331, with Loras College second with a 340. Also for NIACC, Kenedee Frayne shot 92, Dnaielle Randick 94, Addy Boell 95 and Ashlyn Berven 96. NIACC returns to action next Tuesday at the NIACC Invitational to be held at the Legacy Golf Course at the 19 in Mason City.
