Wisconsin man pleads guilty in Franklin County sexual abuse case

HAMPTON — A Wisconsin man accused of sexual abuse in Franklin County has pleaded guilty.
23-year-old Kaden Dokken of LaCrosse is accused of sexually abusing a child in rural Iowa Falls. A criminal complaint states that the parents of a minor child on May 24th of last year reported to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office that Dokken had been assaulting their minor child for four to five months.
Dokken had pleaded not guilty to one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child, a Class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison, and was due to be tried on the charge on April 29th, but during plea change proceedings held Thursday, Dokken pleaded guilty to the Class B felony of sexual abuse of a child.
A sentencing date was not immediately listed in court records.
