High school track roundup from Monday — Clear Lake boys win team title in Hampton

HAMPTON — The Clear Lake boys won the Hampton-Dumont Invitational track meet last night. The Lions had 155 points, Garner-Hayfield-Ventura was second with 106, while Hampton-Dumont-CAL was third with 101 points. The Lions had three individuals place first with Alex Kerr in the 200, Cooper Cooke in the 110 hurdles and Sam Howland in the high jump. The 4×400 relay also picked up a victory. ARMSTRONG — West Hancock won both the girls and boys team titles at the Tom Elliott/Jim Godfredsen Relays in Armstrong on Monday. The Eagles boys had 223 ½ points, North Iowa was second with 139, while North Union was third with 100. On the girls side, West Hancock had 143 points, with Estherville-Lincoln Central second with 127. Full results can be found via the links below
MARSHALLTOWN — The Mason City High girls finished fifth at the Bobcat Girls Track and Field Invitational in Marshalltown. Waukee Northwest won the team title with 109 points, Valley was second with 101, while the Riverhawks had 47 points. Mason City had the top three runners in the 1500 with Peyton Bobolz winning in a time of 5:33.46, with teammates Eva Fulk and Callan Fitzgerald placing second and third. Brogan Evans won the 3000 in a time of 11:01.39. The Riverhawks also won the 800 Medley Relay. Full results click here
