Mason City man arrested on drug charges after search warrant at home

MASON CITY — A Mason City man is in jail on drug charges after a search warrant was executed on Friday.
The Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office says they along with Mason City and Clear Lake police officers, the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement and the North Central Iowa Narcotics Task Force Tactical Team executed a search warrant at 1428 North Adams shortly before 9 o’clock on Friday morning. Officers allegedly found ice methamphetamine, marijuana and a stolen firearm.
50-year-old RT Harris was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail on charges of: possession with the intent to deliver meth, a Class C felony; possession of a firearm by a felon and trafficking in stolen weapons, each a Class D felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.
Harris is being held in jail on a total of $35,000 cash-only bond.
Authorities say the case is still under investigation.
