MASON CITY — Pending school board approval, Trisha Howe has been named as the new head volleyball coach at Mason City High School.
Howe is a 2004 graduate of Mason City High School, as she was a multisport athlete participating in volleyball, softball, cheerleading and gymnastics.
For the past four years, Howe has been strongly involved with the Mason City Volleyball Club, with this past season taking over as the club’s director taking on administrative duties as well as continuing to co-coach the club’s high school teams.
Howe in a written statement says she’s grateful for a wonderful opportunity to be a part of volleyball on a bigger scale and cannot wait to share her love and passion for volleyball with the young athletes she’ll be involved with.
