NIACC baseball swept by Indian Hills

MASON CITY — The NIACC baseball team dropped a doubleheader to Indian Hills on Wednesday at Roosevelt Field in Mason City.
The Warriors took the opener by pounding out 12 hits and taking advantage of six NIACC errors in a 9-4 win. For NIACC, Lincoln Becker had two hits while Justyn Rivera drove in two runs with a double in the fifth inning.
In game two, Indian Hills scored six of their eight runs in the fifth inning in an 8-1 win. NIACC’s lone run came in the first inning when Becker hit an RBI double.
NIACC is now 17-32 overall and 10-20 in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference. They’ll wrap up the regular season this weekend with a three-game series at Northeast Community College.
